Twelve years later and Asselia is spending time with her mother Fenella by a river behind the castle. Asselia had grown fond of fishing. Her ruby claws allowed her to catch them with ease. It also helped her mom to come up with idea on how to get the rest of the pups back from Nadia. The last anyone heard, Nadia got swallowed up by the wandering forest along with the pups she pup napped.
Meanwhile Bruce is pacing around in front of his throne. He has been on edge. The fact that he hasn't been able to find his pups after twelve years drove him nearly insane. He had heard rumors over the years that Nadia had been devoured by the wondering forest on the edge of Ailamina along with the pups she was carrying.
